Victoria A. Jones, age 79 of Monroe passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Pleasant View Nursing Home.  She was born on November 1, 1946 the daughter of Joseph and Lolly (Earlywine) Conners. After high school Vickie attended MATC and became an LPN.  On May 15, 1982 Vickie married Timothy Jones. 

Vickie started her nursing career as a “candy striper”, she was also a CNA, and LPN in Monroe.  She worked for 28 years at Virginia Nursing Home in Waukesha.  When she returned to Brodhead she worked as a caregiver.  Vickie and her husband, Tim were very involved in the Albany American Legion and did 11 years of volunteering and helping with the Alzheimer Walk.  She received many awards for her volunteer work.  Vickie dedicated her life to caring for others. 

Vickie is survived by her sister, Ruth Belke; nephew, Jason Belke; and many cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Timothy. 

A private graveside service was held.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vickie’s memory to Walk to End Alzheimer’s at act.alz.org. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
