Vernon Wheeler, age 95, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the Next Inning Assisted Living in Orfordville.  He was born on May 7, 1929 the son of Jack and Alma Wheeler.  Vernon proudly served in the United States Army. On July 1, 1950 Vernon married Helen Dzieza in North Chicago at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. 

Vernon is survived by his 3 children; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Helen.
