Tina M. Ostrander, age 48 of Monroe, died at her home on Friday, December 13, 2019, following a lengthy illness. Tina was born on November 10, 1971 in Monroe, the daughter of Roy and Alice (Keehn) Naef. She attended Monroe schools and married Richard A. Ostrander on November 5, 1994 at St. John’s United Church of Christ. Tina worked as a driver and dispatch at First Student in Monroe for 15 years and also volunteered as a driver for Green County EMS from 2005-2010. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and fishing.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Rick Ostrander; a daughter, Tiffany (Jon) Alt; step-granddaughter, Lydia Alt; parents, Roy and Alice Naef; a sister, Cindy (Tim) Engle, all of Monroe; several nieces and nephews; and brothers-in-law, Larry (Susan) Ostrander of Boston, MA, and Gordy (Julie) Ostrander of Monroe. She was preceded in death by a son, Jarrett on April 4, 2016; paternal and maternal grandparents; mother and father-in-law, Gertrude and Floyd Ostrander; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Ostrander.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hope Evangelical Free Church, 2902 13th Street, Monroe, with Reverend Todd Hackman officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hope Evangelical Free Church.
