Timothy J. Thesing, age 62 passed away on Monday, May 22nd, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born May 21, 1961, the son of James and Colette (Kaczorowski) Thesing in Lanesboro, MN. Tim and his family later moved to Waukon, IA where he graduated in 1980 from high school.

Shortly after high school, he entered the United States Navy where he served for 8 years. After his discharge, he worked as an owner/operator over-the-road truck driver. He was proud to serve his country, but more importantly he was proud to serve the Lord. He accepted Christ while driving across Ohio as the song Amazing Grace played on the truck radio for he was never to be the same again.

On November 25, 2006, he was united in marriage to Christine Stein.

Tim is survived by his wife Christine, son Nathan Thesing and stepchildren Lisa (Bryan) Kumfer and Craig (Andrea) Nolen, grandchildren Emma and Betsy Kumfer and Cleo, Karl, Lisl, and Otto Nolen. He is further survived by his siblings Monica Thesing, Tom Thesing, Teresa (Fidel) Steiber-Moncada, Patty Livingston (Tim Niles), Neil (Corlis) Tesing, Andy (Sherry) Thesing, MaryBeth Thesing, Lori Ann Reyes, Jim Joe Thesing (Shawn Kiley), Jennifer (Ismael) Sanchez, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Colette Thesing, brother Patrick, niece Karla Thesing, father and mother-in-law Karl and Luise Stein.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 18 and 8th 1802 8th St., Monroe WI. Visitation 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Bishop Luis Rivera will officiate. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Argyle where military graveside rites will be accorded. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family.
