Terrance “Terry” Hanna, age 93, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at the New Glarus Home.  He was born on March 5, 1932 the son of Sam and Maude (Clark) Hanna in Winnipeg, Canada.  After graduating from high school Terry went onto graduate from St. John’s School of Engineering.  On July 27, 1957 Terry was united in marriage to Margaret Stephenson.  He later married Mary Ann Erikson on March 29, 1996 in New York. 

Terry began his career in Canada, working as an inspector for Canadian Post, Poles & Ties and later with Imperial Oil. After relocating to the United States, he became President of Industrial Combustion, where he dedicated many years before retiring in 1996.  He was a member of the National Historic Cheesemaker Association and a founding member of the Monroe Curling Club. Terry had a love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and spending time in the woods. For more than 50 years, he made fishing trips to Canada.

Terry is survived by his wife Mary Ann of Monroe; children, Richard (Nicolette) Hanna of Eau Claire, WI, Keith (Shari) Martin of Monroe, Lynn Martin of Dover Plains, NY; grandchildren, Tori (Scott), Dan (Alex), Carrie (Dan), Courtney (Chris), Chantel, and Brianna; and six great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Hanna; and two brothers.

Memorial Services will be held on February 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Ludlow Mansion with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating.  Following the service there will be a luncheon and a continued celebration.    

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the Mansion.  Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.com.
