Sandra “Sandy” K. Lincicum, age 72, of Monroe passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the SSM Health Hospice Home.  She was born on March 19, 1952 the daughter of Lloyd and Marian (Rackow) Rufer.  She graduated from Monroe High School in 1969. Sandy was united in marriage to Paul Lincicum on September 12, 1999 at the Monroe Bible Church. 

Over the years Sandy worked at Ricky’s Pizza House, Bandi’s Bench on the square, drove semi for A & H Trucking in Footville, Barb’s Kitchen for several years, Mobil Gas Station the North Sider; she also farmed through the years as well. Sandy was a member of the Monroe Bible Church.  She enjoyed gardening and sharing her harvest with others, fishing, league bowling, and being outdoors. She will be remembered for her excellent cooking and baking.  Above all else she enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Sandy is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Shelly (John) McCormick, Dawn Veer, Tristan Veer, and Kyra Veer; grandchildren, Kyle (Robia) Smith, Ashley (Jeremy) Treuthardt, Blake (Natasha) Bast, Taylor (Amber) Veer, and Nickolas Veer; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jerry Phillips, Dale (Cheryl) Rufer, LaVonne Rossa, and Debra Studt; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Heather in infancy; and brother-in-law, Jim Rossa. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Washington Reformation Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dan Krahenbuhl officiating.

Friends and family may gather to visit at the cemetery on Tuesday from 12:00 PM Noon until the time of service.
