Samuel A Rogula, Jr., a Vietnam Vet, lost his long battle with cancer on May 24, 2025, Memorial Day weekend, at the age of 80. He was born on October 15, 1944, in Moline, IL, the son of Samuel A and Jean Elizabeth {Hill) Ragula. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1963. Samuel served with the Army from 1965-1967, attaining the rank of SP5.
He lived in Janesville, WI, and worked as a meat cutter in the food service industry.
Samuel was a man of unwavering warmth and kindness, whose greatest joys in life were spending time on the golf course and with his beloved grandchildren. Whether perfecting his swing on the golf course or sharing stories and wisdom with his family and friends, he lived each moment with a sense of joy and gratitude.
Samuel is survived by his sons: Brian (Danielle) Ragula, Ricky (Kristine) Corwin, and Mike Corwin; grandchildren: Logan Rogula, Connor Ragula, Jordan Ragula, and Dillon Corwin; siblings, David Rogula and Judy Ragula; and numerous other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Hazel Rogula
