Ross A. Clendening, age 61, of South Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born on November 5, 1963 in Geneva, IL the son of James Miller and Carol Clendening.  He graduated from Park High School in Livingston, MT.  After high school Ross proudly served in the United States Navy for 4 years as a rescue swimmer.  On June 29, 1985 Ross married Joyce Marsh in San Diego, CA.  Ross was the owner and operator of C9 Construction Co..  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and Awana Clubs. 

Ross is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Amber (Justin) Rowe, Joel Clendening, Sally Clendening, Annemarie Clendening, Kylie (Eric) Nyhof, Micah (Marlene) Clendening, Ezekiel Clendening, Hannah Clendening, Abigail (Drew) Bauer, Caleb Clendening, Elisha Clendening, Grace Clendening, and Bethany Clendening; eight grandchildren; siblings, Alan Miller, Jesse (Mary) Miller, and Jeremy (Beth) Clendening; and step-sister, Shasta Miller. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Zebulon; grandson Jedediah; and brother, Randi Miller.
