Rosemary Marie “Lynch” Simonson
Rosemary Marie “Lynch” Simonson

Rosemary Marie “Lynch” Simonson was born to Delbert and Dorothy Lynch on Feb 28, 1950, and grew up on her family farm near Monroe WI, finishing High School in Albany WI. She loved her Green County Roots. She found so much pride in enjoying her time there and supporting the local people and businesses. A trip back home always included bringing back Landjaegers and cheese from Baumgartner’s, or a stop at Chocolate Temptations with friends for coffee and a treat.

Rosie left Monroe in 2006 to join her daughter Nikki Miglore and son-in-law Shaun Miglore in Scottsdale Arizona, and later in Windermere Florida, where she helped raise her beloved grandchildren, Aly, Stryker and Braylin. “Grammie” was their consistent companion and cheerleader (she rarely missed a sporting event or dance recital), and was a constant source of inspiration. Rosie was always spearheading something, from girl scouts to family projects, creative baking with the kids or just a fun night at home. She was an irreplaceable part of their daily lives.

Rosie had a sense of adventure, beginning in her younger years she started jogging with her neighbors and snow skiing with her brother. Her appetite for action continued as she got older when she went skydiving with Nikki, and later even running half marathons, her last one at the age of 67!

Rosie also had a remarkable skill for sales and leadership. First She built a long career with Beeline, then Longaberger, where both businesss flourished. She found enjoyment in leading many home parties and bus trips. Rosie also worked at the Monroe Clinic and became the Director of Volunteer services, and was honored for her 16 years of service. Her work was such a joy to her because it allowed her to be surrounded by people, and make lifelong friendships which she deeply loved.

Family was always her first priority — she treasured her brother and sisters, as well as nephews (Kevin, Brian, Gary, Brett), and her niece (Tiffany). And she loved all their children and spouses, making sure holidays and milestones were celebrated together and to the fullest.

She also had a love of family history, tracing her family back to crossing the Atlantic. She had so much pride knowing she was a Daughter of the American Revolution, had relatives who fought in the Civil War, and even a descendent-cousin of the 2nd youngest signer of the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Lynch Jr.

Rosie’s laughter, faith, and fearless zest for life will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is home with the Lord, rejoicing in eternal peace.

Rosemary entered the arms of her Savior on Nov 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her Father and Mother (Delbert and Dorothy Lynch), as well as her sisters Karen (Lynch) Dunlavey and Luann Lynch and brother Tom Lynch.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who have offered prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. Donations in her honor can be made to her local chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution, Colonel Benjamin Harrison Chapter. colbenjaminharrisondar.org
