Rodney E. Zimmerman, age 92 of Juda died Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Woods Crossing in Brodhead. He was born on September 21, 1927 in Monroe, the son of J.Ralph and Thelma (Qualley) Zimmerman. He attended Albany schools. Rodney married Doris V. Grossen on October 20, 1946 in Monroe. Rodney farmed for many years and also worked at R & R Implement in Brodhead, General Motors in Janesville, and Advance Transformer in Monroe. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Juda; he enjoyed rebuilding old cars and tractors and messing with anything mechanical.

He is survived by his children: Yvonne (Pete) Hady of Gays Mills, Allen (Mary) Zimmerman of Beloit, Roger (Lynn) Zimmerman of Monroe, Janice (Jim) Dundee of Brodhead, and Jeff (Jackie) Zimmerman of Albany; 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Doris, son-in-law, Jeffrey Reid.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Kelly Jahn officiating. Burial will follow in Oakley Union Cemetery.
