Roberta McClure Schwaiger age 95 passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025. She was born on April 12, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was one of three daughters to Robert McClure and Teresa Freeman McClure.

In 1948 she enrolled at the University of Illinois to pursue a degree in childhood education. She completed her degree in Childhood Development in 1952. She devoted her professional life to nurturing and guiding young people serving as a nursery school Director in Madison, Wisconsin, and later as a swim coach in Napa, California.

On August 28, 1951, Roberta married Jerome William Schwaiger. Their marriage was one of deep love and partnership lasting seventy-four happy years. Roberta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved husband Jerome William Schwaiger and three children, Karen Dozier (Brian) Neil Schwaiger (Lori) and Phil Schwaiger (Stefanie) and their daughter-in-law Mary Schwaiger. Robin was proceeded in death by her son Clifford Schwaiger and her sisters Nancy Russell, and Gene Morisson. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Lea Bickers (Justin) Scott Dozier, Lauren Schwaiger, Derek Schwaiger, Kaden Schwaiger, Gabriel Schwaiger, Tiffany Unsinn (Joe) Merlin Schwaiger (Molly) Kestrel Brogan (Lee) and her great, great grandchildren, Jackson, Ellie and Macy Bickers, Bard, Sage and Ward Brogan and Nora and Griffin Schwaiger.

Robin liked to travel and particularly enjoyed adventurous trips with family. She will be remembered for her kindness and dedication to children and family and the steady love she shared with all who knew her. Buriel services will be held with family and friends on May 9th at 11am at Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe, Wisconsin. A gathering will follow the service at the American Legion Post. Her family requests that any memorials be directed at Shriners Hospital.
