Robert W. “Bob” Turner, age 80, of Monroe, WI passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Pleasant View Nursing home in Monroe. He was born October 20, 1944, in Charleston, SC, the son of Robert Sr. and Grace (Nelms) Turner. Bob was united in marriage to Betty L. Engebretson.  He has lived in Monroe since 1978 where he worked at Armour Foods until 1986, and in 1989 he began working for Colony Brands until his retirement in 2010.
Bob is survived by his children: Lawrence (Kristyl) Turner of Albany, WI, Lance (Tricia) Turner of Juda, WI, Lewis (Laurie) Turner of Spring Green, WI, and Jackie (Carl Lewis) Turner of Monroe, WI; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty; and one son: Warren Turner in 1989.
Bob was an avid sports fan, especially football, and loved to cheer on the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and Dallas Cowboys. He also liked to be outside where he bonded with his 4-legged friends.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held this spring. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bob’s name.
