Richard Keith Wehinger, age 80, of Monroe passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at SSM Health Monroe Hospital. He was born the son of Ralph and Margaret (Reed) Wehinger on June 28, 1945 in Monroe. He was a 1963 graduate of Blackhawk High School. Richard was united in marriage to Beverly Block on October 9, 1965 in South Wayne.

Richard farmed his entire life; he dedicated his life as a caretaker of livestock and land. He was a longtime member of the Green County Forestry Center. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards, hunting, as well as attending and participating in tractor pulls.

Richard is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Beverly of Monroe; children, Kevin (Belinda Zoellick) Wehinger and Sheryl (Domenic) Vita both of Monroe; grandchildren, Alexis and Sydney Vita and Madison and Blake Zoellick; and siblings, Larry (Cathy) Wehinger of Monroe, Jacky (Chuck) Miller of Chippewa Falls, and Carla (Bob) Ingalls of Jim Falls, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Rev. Christina Schoenwetter officiating. Burial will follow service in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 9:00AM until the time of the service.
