Paul J. Heimann, age 76 of Juda, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Monroe Health Services. Paul was born on July 9, 1944 in Madison, the son of John A. and Virginia A. (Marty) Heimann. He graduated from New Glarus High School in 1962 and entered the U.S. Air Force in 1963. Paul served eight years attaining the rank of Staff sergeant before his honorable discharge on March 18, 1971. Paul married Connie Schwebke on August 29, 1981 in Monroe. He owned Heimann Heating and Cooling in New Glarus and Juda for several years and was employed at American Security for 20 years before his retirement. Paul was actively involved as a 4-H leader for almost 40 years and served as the general leader of the New Horizons 4-H Club in Juda. He was an avid photographer and in his younger years enjoyed bowling at Swiss Lanes and hunting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and being able to watch them grow.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Heimann of Juda; seven children, Jacquie (Don) Stewart-Heimann of Beloit, Sheri Heimann of Texas, Dawn Stauffacher (Rod Hensley) of Republic, MO, Diann (Don) Best of Monroe, Jeff Heimann (Kristen Kammer) of Monroe, Valli (Jason) Brauer of Albany, Kasey Heimann of Juda; grandchildren, Ashley, Autumn, Hailee, Ryli, Rian, Wyatt, Connor, Royce, Maylee, Jaydon, Addyson, Levi, Daegan, and Kaymbree; four great grandchildren and a great granddaughter on the way; and his sister, Mary (Charlie) Esser of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Vicky Heimann.

Private family services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, with Sarah Goebel officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Oakley Union Church Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established in Paul’s name. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net
