Patrick J. McCauley, age 71, of Argyle passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at his home.  He was born on June 28, 1954 the son of Paul and Dolores (Schaaf) McCauley in Shullsburg.  He graduated from Blackhawk High School.  On May 1, 2010 Patrick married Becki Mitchell in Scales Mound, IL.  Patrick worked at Kelly Springfield for 42 years before retiring.  His biggest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed going fishing, auctions, and taking care of his yard.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Becki of Argyle; children, Josh Hoffman of Browntown, Staci (Keith Sexton) Seefeld of Madison, Cody (fiancé, Alyssa Nelson) Pivonka of Argyle, and Cassidy Pivonka of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Trinity, Bridget, Blake, Aspen, and Morello; siblings, Carol (Tom) Landers of Mishawaka, IN, Kay (Bob) Muchka of Oconomowoc, Mary Lou (Terry) Pickett of South Wayne, Larry (Anne) McCauley of Salisbury, MD, Beth (John) Schadewalt of New Glarus, Matthew (Cathy) McCauley of Gratiot, Laura (Mike) Craze of Mequon, Martha (Tom) Dillon of Apple River, IL, Tom (Melissa) McCauley of Brimfield, IL, Tim (Nancy Foster) McCauley of Alexandria, VA, and Teresa (Mark) Hanson of Dane; and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.   

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home with Father Garrett Kau as celebrant.  A private burial will follow at St. Matthews Catholic Cemetery in Shullsburg.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
