Patricia R. Drentlaw, age 93, of Monroe passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at SSM Health Monroe Hospital. She was born the daughter of Frank and Sada (Meyer) DeVoe on May 1, 1932 in Monroe. She was a 1951 graduate of South Wayne High School. Patricia was united in marriage to Richard Saunders in 1951, together they had two children, Cheryl and Joseph. She later married Lester Drentlaw in 1987 in Rockton, IL.

Pat worked in the Dietary Department at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe for 10 years. In her free time, she enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She also loved dancing especially at Turner Hall and Cheese Days.

Pat is survived by her children, Cheryl (Dale) Hexom of Lake Summerset, IL and Joseph (Jacque) Saunders of Oregon, IL; grandchildren, Lacie Hexom and Dr. Braden (Claudia) Hexom; two great-grandchildren, Rowan and Reese Hexom; and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
