Mary M. Boone, age 86, of Monticello passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Agrace Hospice in Madison. She was born November 11th, 1935 the daughter of Herman and Alice (Harrington) Richardson. She graduated from Spring Green High School in 1954. She was united in marriage to Daniel Boone in 1974, he preceded her in death on August 21st, 2018.

Mary started working at the Madison Newspaper in the clerical and administration department. She and her husband managed several apartment complexes. And she later worked for the Internal Revenue Service transferring to the Department of Revenue where she retired in 2008. After her retirement Mary went to work at Swiss Colony.

Mary is survived by her son, Jon (Kathleen) Boone of Monticello; sister, Darlene (Raymond) White; brother, Bobby (Bonnie) Richardson; six grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel; brothers, Howard, Jim, and Jack Richardson; and sister, Betty Richardson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday February 1st, 2022 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
