Marilyn Sylvia Bahe, age 90, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Azura Memory Care. She was born on February 24, 1932 the daughter of Casper and Stella (Johnson) Nybroten. She graduated from Argyle High School in 1950.
Marilyn married Burnett Bahe on December 9, 1950 at Argyle Lutheran Church. She worked as the secretary at Argyle High School, Swiss Colony, and as a secretary and bookkeeper for Bahe Insurance Company.
Marilyn was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was a church organist for many years. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose and a charter member of Sons of Norway in 1997. Marilyn enjoyed bowling and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. -
Marilyn is survived by her children, Susan Bahe of Monroe, Kim Bahe of Clinton, Sheri (Richard) Novak of Monroe, and Kevin (Ermaeliza) Bahe of Darlington; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jon) Ludlum of Darien, Jason Bahe of Cuba City, Carrie Bahe of Platteville, and Brian (Nicole) Novak of New Berlin; 9 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Burnett; 3 brothers, Ardell, Casper Jr., and Jerry; and 2 sisters, Dorothy Wicklund and one in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor John Tabaka officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
