Marilyn Ann Moen, age 86, of Argyle, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Rachel’s Choice Assisted Living in Monroe, WI after a battle with a long-term illness. Marilyn was the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Arntsen) Ihus, born on April 17, 1933. She graduated from Blanchardville High School. Marilyn was united in marriage to Burnell K. Moen on July 27, 1952, at Blanchardville Lutheran Church in Blanchardville, WI. Marilyn and Burnell farmed on his family homestead in rural Argyle, WI until they moved to Argyle in 1995. Marilyn was a member of Adams Lutheran Church, rural Argyle, WI.

Marilyn is survived by their children, Larry Moen of rural Argyle on the family farm, Nancy Kraus of Waukesha and Bernard (Lori) Moen of Oshkosh; four grandsons, AnDrue Moen, Ian and Nathan Kraus and Ben Moen, one granddaughter Leah Moen, and two great-granddaughters, Aisha Moen and Charlee Shunk and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Duffy and Grace Peterson both of Mt. Horeb; a sister-in-law, Bernadine Ihus of Janesville; and brothers-in-law Paul O’Brien of Sturtevant and Jerry Wiesenberg of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband Burnell in 2006; her parents; and her daughter, Linda Moen in 1960; brothers Gordon, Donald and Paul Ihus; sisters Donna O’Brien and Janet Wiesenberg; brothers-in-law Eddie Duffy, Maynard Peterson, and Maynard Moen; and sister-in-law Pauline Ihus.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 11:00A.M. at Adams Lutheran Church in rural Argyle by Rev. Shelley Nelson. Burial will be at Adams Lutheran Cemetery, rural Argyle. A visitation will be held from 9:00A.M. – 10:45A.M. at the church. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
