ALBANY – Marguerite Marie Hill age 85 passed away on Saturday October 24, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital Madison. She was born on August 28, 1935 in Illinois the daughter of Charles and Anna (Rogowski) Malkey.

She married Raymond K. Hill on September 12, 1953 in Illinois and they moved to Albany from Earlville, Illinois and purchased a farm. Raymond preceded her in death in 1999 and then she married John Stoehr Sr. and he preceded her in death in 2005.

She worked on the farm most of her life and then was employed by Apco Sewing Factory in Brodhead until they closed and she went on to work for Ogden Manufacturing until her retirement. She was a member of Washington Reformation United Church of Christ Monticello Wisconsin. She loved to garden where she raised Irises of many different colors for several years. 

She is survived by her children; Mary Jane Patchen, Russell (Bonnie) Hill, Brenda Keepers, Douglas Hill, three step children; John W. "Butch" (Nancy) Stoehr JR., David (Stacey) Steohr, Diane (Jeff) Reed, twelve grandchildren, five great  grandchildren, one great-great grandson, several step grandchildren and  great grandchildren, extended family, Anne Statz, Melinda and Cody Bigler, David Statz, nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Raymond and John, and all of her siblings.

Private Family services will be held at 12:00noon on Monday November 2, 2020 at Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home Evansville. Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery Albany Wisconsin. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
