Margaret E. Miller, age 85, of Monroe passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on January 7, 1934, the daughter of John and Elsie (Stratton) Burns in Philadelphia, PA. She was united in marriage to Paul Patrick Miller on June 11, 1955 in Philadelphia; he preceded her in death in July of 1988.

Following high school Margaret attended Nursing College. She was a Nursing Assistant at St. Clare Hospital for 20 years. She was a longtime member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor’s Catholic Church. In her free time, she avidly enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers.

Margaret is survived by her children, John Miller of Monroe, Colleen “Kelly” Lillge of Sea Drift, TX, Paul (Tammi) Miller of Indianapolis, IN, and Margaret (David) Mueller of Oklahoma City, OK; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two daughters, Maureen Moring and Margaret Miller in infancy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Friday, December 6, 2019 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Larry Bakke celebrant. Inurnment will follow service at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10AM until the time of mass, at the church.
