Lynnette M. Miles, 87 of Monroe, passed away on May 23rd, 2025 at 10:00 p.m. She was born the daughter of Harold and Evelyn (Guhl) Vanderhoof on June 19th, 1937 in Plymouth, WI. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1955. On March 16th, 1957 Lynnette was united in marriage to Harry (Bud) Miles, Jr., who preceded her in death on February 16th, 2016. 

Lynnette was an office manager for Carter & Gruenewald for 32 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and various book clubs. Lynn loved to travel with her husband of 59 years, Bud. For many years, they traveled to Lehigh Acres in Florida during the cold winter months. They also enjoyed several cruises with the family, including a special cruise for their 50th wedding anniversary. 

She enjoyed family time, trips to the Fireside, and all musicals. She was very creative, enjoying crocheting, sewing and ceramics, playing piano, and collecting angels. 

Lynnette is survived by her children, Randy (Kristen) Miles of Waunakee, Marianne (Tom) Keenen of Windsor, CO and Peggy Frommung of Lyndon Station; seven grandchildren, Brandon (Brianne) Miles, Shannon (Sean) Shotliff, Jason Skinner, Ethan Skinner, Daniel Skinner, Daniel (Hailey) Keenen, and Kelsey (Duston) West; five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Olivia, Hunter, Luke, Grayson, and soon to arrive Addison. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Rick Miles, and two brothers, Gary Vanderhoof and Peter Vanderhoof. 

Memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 at Shriner Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
