Lucille A. Schneider, aged 90, of Browntown passed away peacefully on November 24, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Manor, Footville, WI. She was born the daughter of Tilman and Rachel (Laughridge) Nipple on October 4, 1933, in Albany, WI.  Lucille married the love of her life Lawrence Schneider on June 15, 1952, in Albany.

Lucille worked at Libby’s, now known as Seneca Foods, in Janesville seasonally for a few years; she later worked at Advance Transformer for 30 years before retiring in 1986.   Beyond her career, Lucille loved life and pursued a variety of interests. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed traveling. But it's her family time that brought her the most joy; she loved being with her children and grandchildren. 

Lucille is survived by her husband, Lawrence; three children, Bruce (Becky) Schneider of Monroe, Connie (Steve) Isely of Juda, and Linda Buol of Troy, IL; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; uncle, Ray Laughridge; and sister-in-law, Esther Gobeli.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald (LaVerne) Nipple and Gordon (Rita) Nipple; sister, Carol (Virgil) Marshall; son-in-law, Terry Buol; grandson, Terry Schneider.; and great-granddaughters, Iris, Danielle, and Emma Loggins. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 11:00 AM at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Barrett officiating.  Burial will be held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Juda at a later date.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.
