Linda L. Budsberg, age 80, of Monroe passed away on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family.  She was born the daughter of Robert and Doris (Larson) Markin on July 23, 1941 in Rockford, IL.  She married Gary Budsberg on January 13, 1994 in Cozumel, Mexico.

Linda worked at Monroe Public Schools, the Monroe Clinic, and Blackhawk Tech.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and her dog, Wilson; and spending time with her grandchildren.     

Linda is survived by her husband Gary; children, Lori Esber of Carson City, NV, Jeffrey Esber of Meriden, CT, Lisa (Joel) Peck of Reno, NV, and Tami (Shane) DeVries of Ixonia; grandchildren, Jayli, Noah, Josie, Jada, Connor (Danielle), Kennedy, and Elijah; and two great-granchildren, Lyncoln and Boston. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, and one sister.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor John Tabaka officiating.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Green County Humane Society, and St. Jude’s.
