Laura “Laurie” A. Coplien, age 60, of Beaver Dam, formerly of Monroe, died on Friday, November 8, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born on October 7, 1959 in Monroe, the daughter of Robert and Judith (Daly) Heitz.

Laura was a 1977 graduate of Monroe High School. She enjoyed flower gardening.

Laura is survived by her parents, Robert and Judie Heitz of Monroe; daughters, Tracy Coplien of DeForest and Ashley (Andrew) Johnson of Ramona, CA; brothers, Robert   (Diana) Heitz III of Argyle, and Joseph (Rocio) Heitz of Mission, TX; 5 grandchildren, Alex, Braxton, Chloe, Jacob and Caleb, and companion, Terry Link.

She is predeceased by her granddaughter, Haley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church, with Monsignor Larry Bakke celebrant.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 16th from 12:00 noon until time of service at the church.
