Kurt A. Fritsch, age 56, passed away unexpectedly, February 26, 2019, at his home in Madison, Wisconsin. Kurt was born to Robert and Glenda Fritsch in Monroe on January 28, 1963. He was raised in Monroe and is a Monroe High School graduate.
Kurt worked for the University of Wisconsin, Madison as a networking infrastructure project manager for 18 years. He had always been active with the members of his community; there are many people who call him a friend. For many, Kurt will be remembered for his passion for barbecuing. He enjoyed cooking for his friends and family and bringing people together. Kurt also enjoyed cheering on the Packers, Badgers, and the Brewers. Above all, Kurt loved his sons and his dog Murphy. Murphy meant a lot to him, and is now staying with his sons Gavin and Ross.
Kurt is survived by his mother, Glenda Fritsch; his brother, Rob Fritsch; his sister, Jamie Fritsch; his step-son, Austin Eaton; his step-grandchildren, Nora, Clara, and Logan, and his sons, Gavin and Ross Fritsch.
A Celebration of Kurt’s Life will be held on Thursday March 7, 2019 from 4:00- 7:00PM at the SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home. All friends and family are welcome to attend. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.
