Kathleen L. Benson, age 63, of Monroe, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at her home. She was born on June 9, 1956 in Darlington, the daughter of Irvin and Barbara (Paulson) Benson. Kathleen graduated from Argyle High School in 1977.

Kathleen was employed with Greenco for 43 years and enjoyed everyone she worked with.

She was a member of Apple Grove Lutheran Church, she enjoyed bowling, shopping, going for walks, and the Special Olympics.

She is survived by her sisters, Sheryl (Larry) Klemm of Browntown, Denita O’Brien of Baraboo, Julie Jordan of Freeport, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lee Allen Benson in childhood, and brother Michael Benson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. Burial will be at Apple Grove Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26th, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.
