Jody Marie Ace, age 52, of Monroe, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born the daughter of Phillip and Carol (Stoll) Miller on March 15, 1968 in Monroe. Jody was a 1986 graduate of Monroe High School.

Jody worked in the deli at both Sentry Foods and Dick’s Supermarket, now known as Piggly Wiggly in Monroe; she also worked in nutrition services at The Monroe Clinic Hospital for 20 years. Jody loved horses and showing her favorite horse, Piper at horse shows. She made many friends at Country View Equestrian. She also enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers and going to Miller Park. Jody especially loved spending time with family and friends and her cat, Samwell.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Mayer of Monroe; daughter, Tristin Ace of Monroe; step-brothers, Steve (Lonna) Mayer, Mark (Lynn) Mayer, and Doug (Sandy Horstmeier) Mayer all of Monroe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, step-nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip; step-father, Allie Mayer; maternal grandparents, Harold and Lillian Stoll; and paternal grandparents, Leland and Bernice Miller.

Due to Covid-19 a Private Service was held. Burial took place in Greenwood Cemetery. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jody’s memory. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.
