Jeremy Lee Hartwig, age 38, of Attica passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025.  Jeremy was the loving son of Steve and Colleen (Gill) Hartwig.  Born July 22, 1987 in Madison.  Jeremy went to school in Monticello.  He farmed all his life with his dad and brother.  Jeremy loved his children, farming, and his family.  He was the first to help anybody that needed it and was a hugger.   

Jeremy is survived by his children, Madison and J.J.; his parents, Steve and Colleen Hartwig; grandmother, Darlene Meier; two brothers who were his best friends, Jamie (Cierra Lane) Krueger, and Justin Hartwig; sister, Courtney (Kevin) Komprood; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and lots of friends.

Jeremy will be met in Heaven by his grandparents, Richard and Lorraine Hartwig; cousins, Eric Hartwig and Mike Hartwig; uncle, Gary Gill; and God-father, Duane Albertson.

Jeremy fly free, you are so loved. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Albany Lions Club with Pastor Beth Staniforth-Seamster officiating.  Burial will follow at Attica Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Albany Lions Club. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
