Jacqueline (Jackie) Candance Dean, age 61, of Monroe, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 24th, 1963, the daughter of Duane, Sr. and Marilyn (Pfeifer) Dean.
Jackie went to school in Albany, WI. While living in Albany, she met and married Paul Henningsen. They had 2 daughters, Jamie and Bobbie. After their divorce, she met her life partner and love of her life in 1986, Jack Martin. They were attached at the hip from that moment and faced the good, bad, and ugly that life threw at them.
While growing up in Albany, you could find Jackie at the local bowling alley, playing one of her favorite arcade games, Pac-Man or find her skateboarding around town, eventually earning the nickname “Skateboard Queen.”
Eventually Jackie and Jack moved to Monroe, WI, where Jackie worked as an In-Home Caretaker. Being able to provide care and support to families in need so their loved ones could stay at home was one of Jackie’s great passions.
Becoming a grandparent to Kyleigh, Dale, Isabella, Lane and Jacob brought tremendous joy and light to her life. You could find them at the store being spoiled by grandma, fishing, baking and numerous sleepovers to name a few. She was truly an amazing grandma and showed it every day with the things she taught them and the love she showed them.
Jackie had numerous struggles in her life but with perseverance, determination, and a fighting spirit she was able to overcome all of them and become the person she was today.
Jackie is survived by her love and life partner, Jack Martin. Her guard kitty, Baby. Daughters, Jamie Henningsen and Bobbie (Alan) Neal. Her 5 grandchildren, Kyleigh (Trevor Collins) Rowley, Dale (JoEllen Truttmann) Rowley, Isabella Rowley, Lane Christen and Jacob (Dakota Hathaway) Neal.
She is further survived by 2 brothers, Kirk Dean and Duane (Tammy) Dean, Jr and 2 sisters, Deb Johnson and Tracie (Bruce) Walz and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, 3 brothers, 1 brother-in-law, and many aunts and uncles.
Cremation rights have been made in accordance with Jackie’s wishes through Grace and Cremation Funeral Home of Albany, WI. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
