Jack Keith Morris, age 70, of Monroe went home to be with his Lord on June 20, 2024 in Winter Haven, FL. He was born the son of Kenneth and Rayona (Schindel) Morris on May 21, 1954 in Princeton, IL. He was a graduate of Darlington High School; following high school he entered the US Army and proudly served from Aug. 1, 1972 until Aug. 2, 1975. Jack was united in marriage to Barbara Gail Pryce on March 3, 1973.

Jack worked for the Water Department in Monroe for 28 and half years, retiring in 2014. He was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church.

Jack is survived by his wife, Gail; children, Christopher Lee (Elise) Morris of Wiota and Hillary (Nick) Holcomb of Davenport, IA; three grandchildren, Henry and Luke Morris and Emma Holcomb; brother, Jay Morris of Pueblo, CO; and sister, Jill O’Brien of Winter Haven, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 18 & 8th, located at 1802 8th St. in Monroe from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with lunch following, downstairs.  The family will be available for a brief greeting from approximately 11am to 12:00pm.

Memorials will be given to Eagles Wings Disc Golf Ministry, Badger Honor Flight or Faith Baptist Church.
