Heather L. (French) Greenwood, aged 48, formerly of Monroe died on Monday, April 21, 2025 in her current Ft. Wayne home from a major cardiac arrest.
She was born in Monroe, WI on May 13, 1976 to Sydnee “Sue” Schneider and Duane “Butch” French. She attended schools in Monroe and Oshkosh, WI.
She married the love of her life, George “Geo” Greenwood on July 7, 2007. She and Geo lived in Verona and Dodgeville areas before moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana. She made many friends along the way and will be missed by all.
A couple of years ago, they bought a house. Heather was working on a career with Primeamerica, with plans to buy the business from her boss. Sadly, she had not attained that goal.
She is survived by her husband George in Fort Wayne, Indiana; her son Chad (Larissa) Berger in Oshkosh, WI, her mother, Sydnee "Sue" Schneider in Oshkosh, WI, her father Duane “Butch” French, Amy Gutzmer, Riley Gutzmer in Monroe, WI. Cali (Gutzmer) Pryce in Brodhead, WI. Her brother Steven (Sharon) Johnston in Oshkosh, WI. Her brother Shane French in Monroe, WI, her nephew Harley French in Windsor, WI. By many beloved cousins in Monroe and Baraboo, WI.
She was preceded in death by a niece, Savannah French. Her grandparents Leonard “Spike” and Ruth French, Monroe, WI. By many of her aunts and uncles; Bob and Elaine French, Donna (French) and Dave Severson, Diane (French) and Don Westphal.
There will be a “Celebration of Life” for Heather Leigh (French) Greenwood on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at the Apparitions M.C. Clubhouse at N6371 Holstein Prairie Rd. Monticello, WI 53570, starting at 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
