Harold Eugene Swedlund, age 91, passed away while surrounded by his loving family on May 30, 2025.

Harold was born on April 2, 1934 in a town in South Dakota, the son of Axel and Iva (Goodroad) Swedlund. He married Ardell Thomas in Pipestone, MN on August 21, 1953.

They spent over 70 years together.

Harold worked in many factories in Rockford, IL and Sycamore, IL after he moved from South Dakota. He then moved to Monroe, WI in 1969 and then to Juda, WI in 1976. He worked at Knight manufacturing from 1976 to his retirement in 1990. He loved working with his Shire horses and Jersey Cows on his farmstead.

Harold is survived by his 4 children, Rocky (Clare) Swedlund, Andy (Marie) Swedlund, Judy (Mike) Hale and Sam (Denise) Swedlund; 15 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; sister Shirley (Milan) Seefeldt and many other nieces, nephews and relatives and friends; and special friends Lisa Weldy and Tony Mendes.

Harold is preceded in death by his wife Ardell; his parents; 5 siblings Alice, Vern, Ethel, Edwin (Ed), Kenny; niece Janet Smith and numerous nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Union-Oakley United Methodist Church, W2388 Gerber Road, Juda WI on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11AM. A visitation will also be held at the Union-Oakley United Methodist Church starting at 9AM to 11AM on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
