Grant Dale
Grant Dale

Grant Dale, born August 29, 1940, in Monroe, Wisconsin, to Robert and Helen Dale, passed away on August 17, 2025. He resided in Browntown, Wisconsin, for most of his life, where he and his wife, Cheryl (Tieman), raised their children.

Grant dedicated many years of service to the Browntown Fire Department and also spent much of his career driving truck. He loved playing fast-pitch and softball, a pastime he enjoyed for many years. In retirement, he found joy in cheering on the Packers and Brewers, spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking, and sharing his homemade wine with family and friends.

Above all, Grant had a deep love for his family. He treasured watching his grandchildren grow and being part of their lives.

Grant will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Cheryl; daughter Janet (Dave) Brunkow; sons Todd (Connie) Dale and Terry (Kris) Dale; seven granddaughters—Kristin, Karie, Kortney, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Karlie, and Kalista; great-grandchildren Jaxson, Linkin, and Lenora; and his two sisters, Deanna Sacker and Tammie DeRemer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dale; mother, Helen Mayne; stepfather, Nicholas Mayne; brother, Nathan Dale; and nephew, Curt Dale.

He will be missed dearly and remembered always for his warmth, dedication, infectious laugh, and the love he shared with those around him.
