Grace Sullivan, 88, passed away on Sunday May 16th in Humboldt, TN where she has resided since 1978.

Born April 7, 1933 in Darlington, WI to Leo Howard and Alice Burgess Howard. She graduated from Monroe High School and East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN.

Grace married Earl Sullivan in Madison, WI on July 23, 1955. Earl passed away on Feb. 21, 1982.

Grace was predeceased by her parents.

As one of seven daughters she was predeceased by all of her siblings; Jane Kuhlman, Mary Bandi, Ruth Nelson, Juanita Olson, Lucille Howard and Hazel Weissenfluh; and her nephew Robert Olson and niece Jane Olson Lehman.

Grace is survived by nieces and nephews: Leah Carr (Bill) Marengo, IL; Ernest Bandi (Yolonda) Glendora, CA; Theresa Vine (Bernie), Albany, WI; Bernadette Wong, Monroe, WI; Michael Bandi, San Dimas, CA; Marilyn Wendelburg, Sussex, WI; Donald Nelson (Kathey) Rancho Mirage, CA; Phillip Nelson, Monroe, WI; Louise Engel, Greenbush, WI; Brian Weissenfluh (Debbie), Monroe, WI; David Weissenfluh (Kathy), Jackson, TN. She is also survived by a brother-in-law Werner Weissenfluh, Monroe, WI; in addition to numerous grand nieces and nephews.

Grace loved to travel having experienced the cultures of China, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Africa, Morocco, Spain, Turkey, Ireland, and Great Britain. She also dearly loved her pet cats and dogs over the years. They were faithful companions providing her with much happiness.

Grace will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by those who loved and knew her.

Visitation will be Saturday May 22nd at 12:00 noon at St. Victor’s Catholic Church in Monroe, WI until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1PM. with Monsignor Larry Bakke celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Monroe.
