Gerald “Jerry” Lee Voegeli, age 59, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at his home. He was born the son of Ralph and Inez (Nyborg) Voegeli on December 5, 1959 in Monroe. He was a graduate of Monroe High School.

Jerry worked at Advance Transformers for 22 years; he was also employed with SK Plastics in Monroe. Jerry enjoyed shooting pool for the Sir Buks pool league. He was a talented musician playing guitar and singing for the “Old School” band. His pride and joy was his 1966 Chevy Chevelle.

Jerry is survived by his companion, Bonnie Dooley; his siblings, Eugene (Dorothy) Voegeli, Gloria (Dwayne) Godfrey, Roy (Mary) Voegeli, Karen Erickson; and Sharon (Wayne) Steitz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Gary Erickson; nephew, Greg Godfrey; and niece, Angie Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00PM Noon on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Lance Smith officiating.
