Eunice N. Wood, age 95, of Monroe passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Monroe Health Services.  She was born on December 9, 1929 the daughter of Fred and Nellie (Shafer) Zweifel.  Eunice graduated from Albany High School in 1947. She worked at Oaktron in Monroe, Hein & Francis Grocery, and Ogden both in Albany.  Eunice enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, and gardening. 

Eunice is survived by her daughter, Shari Cook of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ivan Zweifel; and sister, Rose Engebretson. 

A private graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
