Edward Martin, 90, of Monroe, WI, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 in Aster Assisted Living, Monroe, WI.

He was born November 21, 1935 in Beloit, WI, the son of William and Evelyn (Wheelock) Martin. Ed was a 1954 graduate of South Beloit High School, South Beloit, IL. He married Rosemary Guenette on June 6, 1959 in St Paul’s Episcopal Church, Beloit, WI. She predeceased him on December 30, 2020.

Ed was formerly employed by Besley Products, retiring in 2000. He was on the board for Besley Credit Union and was a member of the Gold Wing’s Road Rider Association. Ed was also involved in 4-H and sponsored a group for Junior Achievement. Ed was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where he made the urns for the columbarium.

Survivors include his children, Timothy (KrisAnne) Martin, Theresa (Bill) Redding, Susanne Wesson and Kimberly (David) Wuethrich; grandchildren, David (Erin Fay) Wesson Jr., Penny (Jesse) Kuhlman, Wendy (Andrew) Schindler, Billy Ray Aldridge, Amelia Wuethrich and Kurtis Wuethrich; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Darrell (Karen) Martin and Christine Overboe; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by parents; sister, Jennell Richards; brothers-in-law, Gary Overboe, Harold Richards, Bryan Blum, and Larry Darwin; and son-in-law, David Wesson Sr.

A memorial service for Ed will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026 in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 212 W. Grand Ave, Beloit, WI, with Deacon Gregg Scheider officiating. Inurnment will be in the Chapel of Joseph of Arimathea Columbarium. A visitation of remembrance will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
