Donna K. Ferguson, age 78, of Monticello passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Dimensions Living, Monroe. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

She was born on July 11, 1947, the daughter of Herman and Charlene (Putnam) Durtschi. She graduated from Albany High School and attended Green County Normal School. She was the 1964 Albany Dairy Queen. Donna married Dean Ferguson at Zwingli United Church of Christ in Monticello on July 8, 1978. She worked at Ekum Abstract and Title as a title officer for more than thirty years. She was a member of the Monticello Area Historical Society, Zwingli UCC, and the church choir.

Donna is survived by her husband, Dean, of Monticello; daughter Cassie Jones (Calvert) Morgan of Pelham, NY; step-daughters Nikki Ferguson (Tom Johnson) of Avondale, AZ, and Shelley Ferguson (Don Hirsch) of New Glarus; step-grandson Kyle Pederson; siblings Thomas (Rose) Durtschi of Albany, Susan (Joe) Washington of Monroe, and Carol Durtschi (David Schad) of White Bear Lake, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cindi Miller.

Memorial services will be held at Zwingli UCC at 11 AM on March 3, with Reverend Peter Strobel officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Research. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
