Donita Strommen, age 72, of Brodhead passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the SSM Health Hospital in Monroe.  She was born on April 6, 1953 the daughter of Donald and Joyce (Schroeder) Conway.  She graduated from Brodhead High School in 1971. 

Donita was a registered nurse at the Monroe hospital until her retirement in 2017.  She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, watching birds and feeding them.  Above all, Donita cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Donita is survived by her son, Andy (Justina Schulze) Strommen of Brodhead; grandchildren, Gretchen, Julianna, and William; siblings, Michael Conway and Tim (Deb) Conway both of Brodhead; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Wendy Conway. 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor Sean Stapleton officiating. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
