Donald E. Blue was ushered into heaven through the saving grace of Jesus on February 22, 2026. Don was born February 26, 1954 in Greenfield, IN to Ed and Mary Louise Blue. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1972. He married Debbie Schlough on March 21, 2009.

Don was an amazing man of integrity who Loved the Lord Jesus! Don was always happy, cheerful, kind, generous and humble. He was a very hard worker and gave his all in everything he did. Don had an amazing voice. In earlier years he sang around the Monroe area. Don enjoyed the outdoors, riding motorcycles, landscaping his property with his tractor, gardening, and his firearms. Don always helped out where needed and enjoyed helping neighbors when they needed it, without having to be asked. He managed the Alphorn Motel for many years with his first family. He was a truck driver the later part of his life. Don worked for Shred -it, Dr. Detail, and Pellitteri. He enjoyed driving the big trucks! He loved his family and always did his best.

Don is survived by his wife Debbie, his ex-wife Elaine Blue, children Jessica Blue, Park Falls, WI Elizabeth(Jason) Shank, Byron, IL. Ethan(Natalie) Blue, Lake Tomahawk, WI. Stepson John Schlough, Brodhead, WI. Sister Jani Blue-Farrell(Charlie), Cedaredge, CO. Grandchildren Jacob Lutz, Lauryn Shank, and Remy Blue.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Mary Louise Blue.

Visitation will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead, WI On Friday March 20, 2026 from 4-7pm.
