Donald D. Schoville, age 80 of Monroe passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the SSM Health Hospice Home.  He was born on October 21, 1944 the son of Lawrence and Mable (Thompson) Schoville in Beloit.  He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School.  On February 14, 2009 Don married Sandra Amacher. 

Don was a police officer in Ft. Worth and Dallas, Texas.  He then went into retail sales, where he worked across several states.  Before his retirement, Don worked at SSM Health in Monroe where he held several different roles.  Don loved shopping and enjoyed watching sports; especially the Brewers. He enjoyed picking on everyone and will be remember for his fun-loving nature.  Above all else, Don cherished spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was proud to be their Grandpa. 

Don is survived by his wife, Sandi; children, Mike (Ronda) Schoville, Ann (Randy) Meier, Jim Campbell, and Gary (Carol) Campbell; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Schoville, Mable and Mervin “Whitey” Steinmetz; siblings, Dixie Gates, Kenneth Schoville, and Larry Schoville; two great-grandsons, Colin Campbell and AJ Meier.

Per Don’s wishes no formal services will be held.  A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at a later date.  Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Sandi for use to be determined at a later date.
