Dennis S. DeVoe, 77 of Browntown, WI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at UW Hospital, Madison, WI. He was born on August 4, 1947 to Sheldon & Esther (Leopold) DeVoe. Dennis graduated from South Wayne high school in 1965. Dennis married Rosann Rahberger on June 28, 1969 at St. Victor's Catholic Church in Monroe, WI.
Dennis farmed his entire life and after he quit farming, he could be found driving tractor for High Plains Pork. Dennis did this until he could no longer get up in the tractor. Dennis would still call and check on the guys from time to time to see what was happening and how things were going with field work and harvest. He loved driving the big tractors and equipment even if they weren't John Deere! Dennis was an avid John Deere fan and collector and could tell you just about anything you wanted to know about old John Deere tractors. Dennis loved hunting and could be found deer, pheasant, and raccoon hunting with a bunch of buddies in his early years as well as his own family who he taught how to hunt, how to shoot and care for guns.
In his free time, Dennis loved to read and listen to 'oldies country and rock & roll' on the computer. Dennis enjoyed attending area tractor pulls, and thresherees.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rosann at home; his daughters, Cheri (Jeff Schuetz) Kammes, Melody Graybill; and his son, Seth (Elaine) DeVoe. He is survived by 6 grandchildren, Morgan (Noel) Nicholson, Gina and Eva DeVoe, Levi, Zeke, and Nevaeh Graybill.
