Delores (Dee) Jean Hagedorn, age 81, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family at her home after a brief illness on November 27, 2022.
Delores was born on December 25, 1940 in Galena, IL the daughter of John and Dorothy Morton. She married Gerald Brown on December 2, 1961. She later married Ramon Hagedorn on June 29, 1991.
Delores was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Brodhead Health Club and the Red Hat Club in Brodhead and worked for over 20 years at Advance Transformer in Monroe, WI before her retirement. Delores enjoyed reading, sewing, traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. She also loved to attend shows and musicals.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Agrace Hospice Care for the care they provided to their mother.
Delores is survived by her 4 children, Mary Grinnell, Robert (Montie) Brown, Monica (Thomas) Crook and Suzy Shaw (Gary Wang); 2 step children, Myra (Todd) Christianson and Michelle Hansen; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Theresa Traw and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her son, William Thomas Brown in 1969, two brothers, John and James Morton and her husband, Ramon Hagedorn on September 16, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Agrace HospiceCare in her memory.
Memorial services will be held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 405 E. 9th Avenue in Brodhead, WI on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM Noon. A visitation will also be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will conclude at Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead. The DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead is assisting the family.
