Delane E. Potter, age 54 of Monroe, died Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born on December 2, 1963 in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Warren and Joyce (Moen) Walker. She attended Monroe High School. Delane married David Potter on November 30, 1984 in Monroe. She worked as a cosmetologist for Cost Cutters in Madison. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and belonged to a pool league. Delane also volunteered with the VA and Hospice, giving free haircuts.

She is survived by her husband, David of Monroe; three siblings: Steve (Mary Kay) Walker of Janesville, Tom (Diane) Walker of Gratiot, WI; Mark (Cindy) Walker of Janesville; a brother-in-law, Delbert (Karen) Potter of Monroe; many nieces and nephews; three feline friends: Dot, Dash, and Klouse.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home.
