Debra K. Boeck age 64 of Freeport, formerly of Monroe, died Friday, July 17, 2020 at her home. She was born on December 26, 1955 in Monroe, the daughter of Frank and Alice (Johnson) Boeck Jr. She graduated from Monroe High School. She worked at SK Plastics as a machine operator for the last 10 years. Debbie was also a bartender for many years at Pats, the Brothers Place, and the Horseshoe bar. She was a member of the Eagles Club in Freeport; she enjoyed making crafts, playing cards and bowling. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her son, Chad (Jackie) Boeck of Monroe; grandchildren: Darian, Devon, and Brady Boeck; siblings: Janet (Jim) Wenger of Dakota, IL, Butch Boeck of Freeport, Jerry Boeck of Olympia, WA, Cheryl Staver of Monticello, Vicki (Bill) Haffele of Browntown, and Randy Boeck of Browntown; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Nancy (Rick) Blask, brother-in-law, Steve Staver, and her beloved dog Rusty.
A Celebration of Debbie’s life will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM at Leisure Lanes in Monroe. A private burial will take place at Saucerman Cemetery. SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home is assisting the family.
