David “Dave” Carlson, age 60, of Monroe passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at his home. He was born on December 10, 1965 the son of David and Lee (Nehls) Carlson. Dave attended Monroe High School. On June 19, 1992 Dave was united in marriage to Virginia Bongiovanni. Dave enjoyed music, video games, and bowling.

Dave is survived by his wife, Virginia; mother, Lee Carlson Fisher; children, Melissa Carlson and Scott Hatlevig; siblings, Stephen (Michaela) Carlson and Tammy Carlson; niece, Kaylee Rule, and nephew, Dylon Wilde. He was preceded in death by his father; and maternal grandmother, Everly Miller.
