Darlene S. Gilbertson age 93 of Oklahoma formerly of Argyle, WI passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 in Oklahoma. She was born December 15, 1926 in Apple River, IL, the daughter of Harry and Bessie (Shultz) Doubler. Darlene was united in marriage to Grant Gilbertson on October 20, 1945 in Freeport, IL.

Darlene is survived by one son: Richard (Shirley) Gilbertson of Muskogee, OK; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Nelda (Francis) Reed of Monroe, WI, and Phyllis (Lawrence) Seffrood of Freeport, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Mark Gilbertson on July 2, 1979; one granddaughter: Jennifer Gilbertson in infancy; four brothers: Robert Doubler, Harry (Gery) Doubler, Glenn and Gerald in infancy; and one sister: Betty Rowe.

Darlene was a member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Argyle. She enjoyed spending her free time doing all sorts of different crafts. Darlene cherished her family and the memories they created together. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Cornerstone Lutheran Church (1540 Old Highway 81, Argyle) with Rev. Dennis Perger officiating. A visitation will be held Monday, June 22, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at the church. Burial will be in Adams Lutheran Church Cemetery.
