Dale Allen Bell, 72, of Monroe, WI passed Sunday, December 3, 2023, concluding his most epic story. He was born on April 16, 1951 in Rockford, IL to James Bell and Gladys Bell Thruman. On March 4, 1969, Dale married Lynn (Barthel Davis) and had two daughters, Carrie and Andrea. He then married Kristine (Berry) on July 6, 2006.

Dale graduated from Aquin Catholic High School in Freeport, IL with honors in 1969. As a senior in high school, he wrote an article on Humanities in Education which was printed in the Chicago Tribune. In his youth, Dale was a journeyman meat cutter at Lee’s Market in Freeport, IL and shortly after became a USDA meat inspector for the state of Illinois. After a move to Iowa, he worked for IL Central Railroad specializing in microwave telecommunications, and then retired as an electrician from Moore Business Forms in Monroe, WI.

Dale loved to take his family on fun, sunny vacations from the Dells to Disney World, as well as resorts in Jamaica. His hobbies included hunting, meat processing, collecting antique weaponry and military memorabilia, and effortlessly crushing crossword puzzles, Jeopardy categories, and cans of beast. In public, Dale was a member of the infamous “Tell ‘Em Nothing Club,” but he loved to captivate his friends and family with tales from his life, affectionately known as “Storytime with Dale.”

Dale is survived by his wife Krissy, mother Gladys, sisters Diane York and Brandie (Joe) Huenefeld, and grandsons Logan Cisewski (Jolie) and Nolan Clark, nieces Charity Schneider, Jackie Bass, Lillian Shelly, nephews Tim Arrington, James Bell Jr., Drake Dotson, Chase York, and Kaden Schleich, and his beloved fur babies Rootie Kazootie and Bonita. Dale joins his beautiful daughters, brother James Darryl Bell, and sister Darlene Smithers, as well as dear friends, in the afterlife.

Dale’s family will hold a celebration of life in his honor at the Friendly Inn, 1335 17th St, Monroe, WI 53566 on Sunday January 14, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 P.M. and will later inter his ashes in a family plot in Arkansas.
