Cindy A. Schutte, age 68, of Monroe passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, surrounded by her family at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

She was born on March 13, 1958, the daughter of Robert and Clydella (Brown) Flynn. Cindy graduated from Albany High School in 1976. On June 16, 1979, she married the love of her life, Russell Schutte.

Cindy worked at the Monroe Clinic as a medical records and transcription supervisor for 27 years, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Above all else, Cindy loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Russell of Monroe; her children, Victoria (Derek Ray) Schutte of Mt. Erie, IL, Katrina (Shane) Jackson of South Wayne, and Samuel (Michelle) Schutte of Monroe; nine grandchildren, Seth, Chesney, Michael, Maci, Colton, Skyler, Elsie, Brecken, and Jamie; and her siblings, Scott (Paula) Flynn of Sandwich, IL, and Shelley Holbach of Earlville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Susan, in infancy.
